Accessibility statement

Medical Center Rogaška is committed to making the website accessible to all users in accordance with the Websites and Mobile Applications Accessibility Regulations.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.rogaska-medical.com.

Level of compliance

The website www.rogaska-medical.com is partially compliant with the Websites and Mobile Applications Accessibility Regulations. The content is made in accordance with the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

The following adjustments have been made to ensure the accessibility requirements:

  • the pages are properly structured through headings (H1-H6) and milestones,

  • multiple high-contrast page display modes can be selected through the accessibility icon in the bottom right corner,

  • the zoom up to 200% or 400% is available without the loss of information (CTRL+ to zoom in, CTRL- to zoom out),

  • the pages are responsive and adapt to the screen resolution,

  • the website can be navigated with the keyboard via the tab key, with a clear and predictable sequence of elements,

  • keyboard focus is visible on all pages and can be further emphasised via the accessibility icon,

  • appropriate colour contrasts between text and background are ensured,

  • the website performance is predictable,

  • the images can be equipped with alternative text,

  • the texts are clear, comprehensible and structured with headings, paragraphs and lists,

  • the links are properly labelled and annotated for screen readers,

  • an indicator of the current location on the website (so called breadcrumbs) is implemented.

The reasons for partial and incomplete accessibility are listed below, but do not have a significant impact on the user experience.

Inaccessible content

Despite our best efforts, we cannot fully ensure compliance with accessibility standards and the Websites and Mobile Applications Accessibility Regulations due to:

  • inaccessibility of some PDFs and other documents,

  • limited control over third-party content (e.g. iframe modules, plug-ins),

  • some images and documents without alternative text.

Due to technical complexity of individual solutions and frequent updates, certain adjustments are introduced gradually. Where this is currently not technically feasible or would impose a disproportionate burden, adjustments will be made at the time of future major upgrades.

We regularly monitor and improve the accessibility of the website. All content maintainers have been trained to produce accessible content. We recognise that errors may still occur in publications.
