OUTPATIENT CLINIC SERVICES

Specialist ORL examination and diagnosis of breathing disorders are only part of the range of services provided by the ORL outpatient clinic. Besides general otorhinolaryngological diagnostics and outpatient surgical treatments, the clinic carries out targeted examinations, the diagnosis of breathing disruptions during sleep, counselling and various forms of therapies and surgeries. Otorhinolaryngologists also deal with aesthetic surgery of the face and neck.

ABOUT OUTPATIENT CLINIC ACTIVITIES

The ORL outpatient clinic focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the ear, throat and nose, and related structures of the head and neck.

The main health problems of the otorhinolaryngologists’ patients are diseases of the ears, throat, nose, skull base, as well as malignant and benign tumours of the head and neck that need to be removed.

The otorhinolaryngology specialists at the Medical Center Rogaška perform a wide range of major and minor otorhinolaryngology procedures to the highest medical standards, with high-quality and detailed diagnostics, and advanced treatment methods for all age groups.

Specialist in otorhinolaryngology

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ljubljana. He has been employed at the ORL Department of the Celje General Hospital. He has completed his specialty in 2016. His primary field of expertise is ear surgery and plastic reconstructive facial surgery. 
He performs both outpatient and surgical work in all major areas of otorhinolaryngology. He regularly participates in workshops abroad, thus expanding his range of expertise and skills in the field of otorhinolaryngology. He is the external collaborator of the Medical Center Rogaška.

In 2003, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, and in 2009 he obtained a Master's degree after his completed research in the field of nose injuries. Since 2010, when he completed a specialist exam with honours, he has been employed at the Department for Otorhinolaryngology and Cervicofacial Surgery at the Celje General Hospital as a specialist in otolaryngology. He deals with facial and neck surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and especially with surgical treatment of breathing disorders during sleep in the last few years. In 2020, he graduated with a doctoral thesis from the field of obstructive sleep disorders from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana. He regularly attends numerous educational seminars in Slovenia and abroad. He cooperates with the Rogaška Medical Centre as an external collaborator.
